MAKE YOUR MIND UP.

I would actually really love to have a gypsy-inspired look to my bedroom. However, I am very (too!) precise…it would have to be careless/carefree, but in a way that absolutely everything is placed exactly how and where I want it to be. Exactly. Ha

Anyway, I do happen to own enough trinkets to fill a small village - so I think I am halfway there. I may well invest in a rag rug, and some Aztec-y type pillows sometime soon, and begin creating my little ‘nest’…

Is it very, extremely strange that I am wishing I could live in a tree?

My hair, when I have finished my third (and hopefully final!) session will be similar to the colour and effect as the first photo. I have very dark brown hair, and at first when it was lightened it came out a very coppery-almost red colour. As the sessions have gone on, I have slowly reached the soft ash colour I had hoped for. Hopefully within the next few weeks I can have it all finished and post up a photo of my own! I am very excited, as I have never done anything drastic colour-wise to my hair before, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that it comes out just how it looks in my head… and that it suits me!

For my first ever post: Dip dyed hair. I have recently taken the plunge.

I love this trend so much - I only wish I had lighter hair. The pale blondes looks so great with the sorbet pinks and minty greeny-blues. Its so fun, it just adds such a soft pop of colour…playing perfectly into the girlier side of colour-blocking.

I suppose I’ve played it safe with my ombre ‘brown-to-ash-blonde’ locks. Having a certain (and permanent!) colour, your wardrobe would be so limited - or else your colour-coordination would always have to be so precise to avoid any clashes. I, myself, have too many interesting prints, and colours, and details to give up for such a dramatic change in hair colour. I’ll stick with what I’ve done thus far - a middle ground :)
